Abstract:

Translation is a simultaneous/continuous act consisting of indicators appropriate for the purpose, which provides oral or written information/communication between the recipient and the recipient in or between the languages. Translation works are used in all fields, mainly in science, technology and literature. Literary translations between these fields serve a variety of purposes, from the recipient’s pleasure to academic development. As known, the verbal/written text in the source and male language has reached the purpose of translation action to the extent that it can be used in the same environment and circumstances. Therefore, ensuring meaningful and functional equality is the main purpose of translation. To be able to create linguistic equivalent in translation studies, which is one of the fields of applied linguistics, it is a native scheletal role for translation. It is important to ensure linguistic, meaningful and functional integrity in translations; to the purpose of translation and translation, so that the buyer can also take advantage of the resulting product accordingly. The most important problem in this process is the loss of information. The loss of knowledge is caused by the fact that the formal, non-verbal, verbal, meaningful and formal objects in the source language are not fully placed in the text in the male language. The purpose of translation is to minimize the loss of information as much as possible. At this point, the translator is consciously/unconsciously taking advantage of many linguistic theories and concepts, including the Producer Transformative Language Science. In order to illustrate this situation, the study aimed at revealing the importance of linguistics in the translation of methods, theories and concepts by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem “Annabel Lee” by Melih Cevdet Anday and Uğur Demiröz. For this purpose, translation texts have been studied comparatively with the original work on the basis of linguistic, image, meaning and interpretation loss and functionality in the framework of the equivalence phenomenon, and on the basis of formology, vocabulary, vocabulary and interpretation.
