Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of bird education on the student’s success and attitude towards the environment in the course of science. The study used a semi-experimental pattern with the last test group. The existing science curriculum and bird training program have been applied to the experimental group, and the existing science curriculum has been applied to the control group. The study group consists of a 32-person experimental group, which is studying in the public school, and a 63-person student group, which is a 31-person control group. The research has used the environmental knowledge test and the environmental attitude scale for academic success as a data collection tool. The analysis of the data is done with t-test for independent and dependent samples. At the end of the study, it was determined that bird education positively affects student academic success.  In addition, it has been found that even if there is an increase in the attitude of students towards the environment, this increase is not statistically meaningful.
