Toplumsal yaşamın uyum ve ahenk içerisinde sürdürülmesi ve geleceğe taşınmasında değerlerin önemli bir rolü vardır. Bu değerlerin yaşatılması ve bireylere aktarılmasında etkili olan çeşitli yapı ve kurumlar vardır. Eğitim kurumlarının bireylerin değer kazanımında yadsınamaz bir yeri vardır. Bu yüzden değerler eğitimi genelde öğretim programları özelde ise sosyal bilgiler öğretim programının temel öğeleri arasında yer almaktadır. İlköğretim 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan sorumluluk, yardımseverlik ve adalet değerlerini benimseme düzeylerini tespit etmek amacıyla yapılan bu araştırma, betimsel tarama modelinde olup nitel bir yöntemle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılında Erzurum merkez ilçelerindeki 4 ilköğretim okulunda öğrenim gören toplam 135 ilköğretim 6. sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi yoluyla seçilmiştir. Bu öğrencilerin 66’sı erkek 69’u ise kızdır. Çalışmanın verileri, araştırmacılar tarafından yazılmış olan örnek olaylarla ilgili öğrenci görüşlerini elde etmek için açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan formla elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından okunup incelendikten sonra kategoriler ve kodlar oluşturulmuştur. Veriler tablolar halinde sunulmuş ve öğrenci görüşlerinden alıntılarla desteklenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda ilköğretim 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin sorumluluk, yardımseverlik ve adalet değerleriyle ilgili örnek olaylardaki karakterlerin davranışlarını çoğunlukla olumsuz olarak değerlendirdikleri ve bu belirtilen değerleri yüksek seviyede benimsedikleri tespit edilmiştir.
Values play an important role in the preservation of social life in harmony and harmony and moving to the future. There are various structures and institutions that are effective in the preservation and transmission of these values to individuals. The educational institutions have an unforgettable place in the earning of value of individuals. That’s why values education is usually one of the main elements of the social information curriculum while the curriculum is specifically one. This research, aimed at identifying the levels of acceptance of the responsibility, utility and justice values included in the social information teaching program of primary school 6th grade students, was carried out in an image scan model and by a qualified method. The study’s work group consists of a total of 135 primary school 6th-class students studying in 4 primary schools in the Erzurum central districts in the 2012-2013 educational year. The work group is selected through easy-to-accessful case sampling from sampling methods. 66 of these students are men and 69 are girls. The data of the study was obtained through a form consisting of open end questions to obtain student views on the examples of events written by the researchers. The data obtained is analyzed by content analysis. After the data was read and studied by the researchers, categories and codes were created. The data was presented in tables and supported by quotes from the students' opinions. The study resulted in 6. It has been found that class students have mostly considered the behavior of the characters in examples related to responsibility, utility and justice values as negative and they have adopted these indicated values at a high level.
