Bu çalışma üniversite öğrencilerinin proaktif kariyer davranışları ile umutsuzlukları arasındaki ilişkide, algılanan sosyal destek düzeylerinin düzenleyici rolünü incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları Türkiye’de Doğu Anadolu Bölgesindeki bir üniversitede öğrenim gören 165 kadın, 137 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 302 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılardan veri toplamak amacıyla “Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği”, “Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçeği” ve “Kariyer Adanmışlık Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin umutsuzluk, algılanan sosyal destek ve proaktif kariyer davranışları arasındaki ilişkiler Pearson korelasyon analizi ile test edilmiştir. Umutsuzluk ve algılanan sosyal desteğin proaktif kariyer davranışları üzerindeki yordayıcı etkisi ile algılanan sosyal desteğin düzenleyici rolü önyükleme(bootstrap) yöntemine dayalı regresyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. Korelasyon analizi sonucunda proaktif kariyer davranışlarının umutsuzluk ve algılanan sosyal destek ile anlamlı ilişkilere sahip olduğu gözlenmiştir. Regresyon analizi sonucunda ise umutsuzluk ve algılanan sosyal desteğin, proaktif kariyer davranışlarının yordayıcıları olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca algılanan sosyal desteğin umutsuzluk ile proaktif kariyer davranışları arasındaki ilişkide düzenleyici role sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study aims to explore the regulatory role of the level of social support perceived in the relationship between proactive career behaviors and disappointments of university students. The researchers consist of a total of 302 students, including 165 women and 137 men, who studied at an university in the eastern Anadolu region in Turkey. To collect data from participants, the "Multi-Dimensional Detected Social Support Scale", "Beck Despair Scale" and "Career Dedication Scale" were used. Relationships between student desperation, perceived social support and proactive career behaviors have been tested by Pearson's correlation analysis. The regulatory role of social support perceived by the disappointment and the detected social support on proactive career behaviors was studied by a regression analysis based on the bootstrap method. The correlation analysis found that proactive career behaviors had meaningful relationships with desperation and perceptible social support. Regression analysis concludes that desperation and social support are the promoters of proactive career behaviors. It has also concluded that the social support perceived has a regulatory role in the relationship between disappointment and proactive career behaviors.
