Abstract:

In Egypt, the Turkish and Turkish history is a little longer than a thousand years of time. The Turkish domination, which began with the sons of Toluno, continued for centuries with the Memlik and the Ottoman states. Many cultural heritage remained behind Turks in this period. Turkish writing works are primarily distributed to libraries around the world, including Turkish libraries. In the modern sense, for about a hundred and fifty years, the cataloguing work of written works in these libraries has been done and continues to be done. Through these studies, the lists of cultural, literary, scientific works of Turkish history are revealed and the scientific work on written works illuminates the dark points of history. This article will try to introduce Turkish writings in the library of works related to the Egyptian al-Ezher Sheikh (Meshyehatü'l-Ezher). The library is the second largest library in Egypt after the National Library. The Turkish writing works in the library are in the collection 'Lugat-ı Şarkiyye'. The collection of Lugat-i Şarkiyye is made up of Turkish and Persian writings. The majority of the collections of Turkish works contain 431 paintings. The article provides information about 193 Turkish works; the name of the work, the author's name, the catalogue numbers, the varak number and the state of movement. The works called the Rishale mecmuata and Persian works are outside the scope of this article.
