Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye`de 2008-2012 yılları arasında sınıf öğretmenliği alanında yapılmış yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin incelenerek lisansüstündeki araştırma eğilimlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu temel amaç doğrultusunda, tezler yayınlandığı yıl, yöntemi, veri toplama araçları, örneklem özellikleri, veri analiz teknikleri ve konu alanları açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Tezler betimsel yaklaşım çerçevesinde doküman incelemesi yapılarak incelenmiş ve her bir tez “Tez Sınıflama Formu” kullanılarak içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmada YÖK Ulusal Tez Veri Tabanında yer alan ve tam metin olarak ulaşılabilen sınıf öğretmenliği bilim ya da ana bilim dalındaki tezler çalışma kapsamına alınmış olup, çalışma 2008-2012 yılları ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre tezlerin çoğunluğunun nicel çalışmalar olduğu, betimsel tarama türünde olduğu, tezlerde çoğunlukla anket ya da likert tipi ölçeklerin kullanıldığı, öğretmenler ve ilköğretim 1-5 öğrencileriyle çalışıldığı ve t-testi ve varyans analizi istatistiklerinin kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca incelenen tezlerin sırasıyla en çok eğitim programları ve öğretim, Türkçe eğitimi ve hayat bilgisi ve sosyal bilgiler eğitimi alanlarında yapıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the research trends in the undergraduate school by examining the master's and doctor's theses in the field of class teaching in Turkey between 2008-2012. In accordance with this main objective, the theses were evaluated in terms of the year, method, data collection tools, sampling characteristics, data analysis techniques and subject areas. The theses were studied by conducting a document review in the framework of a visual approach and each thesis was subjected to content analysis using the "Tesis Classification Form". In the study, the theses in the field of science or main science that are included in the YÖK National Thesis Database and can be reached as a full text have been taken into the study scope, and the study is limited to the years 2008-2012. Analysis of the data is used for the analysis of the data. The research finds that the majority of the theses are quantitative studies, that they are in the type of imaging scan, that the theses are mostly using survey or liquid-type scales, that they are working with teachers and 1-5 primary school students, and that t-test and variance analysis statistics are used. The study also concluded that the most of the theses were performed in educational programs and teaching, Turkish education and life knowledge and social information education.
