Abstract:

This study examined the characteristics and results of the research on Turkish education of two-language Turkish children living in Europe. The aim of this study is to explore how the specific needs and problems of two-language children living in Europe in relation to Turkish education are addressed to the countries. Thus, according to the outcomes of the research, it was attempted to identify the current situations and determine how the Turkish teaching process should be organized for immigrant Turkish children in Europe. During the research process, data was collected and analyzed according to the scan method, visual analysis and document review. In this context, the publication of articles, book sections and the research of the theses has been achieved. The country, method, data collection tool, data analysis method, sample determination method and sample characteristics are based on the visual analysis and the findings and results (data) sections are studied according to the document analysis. The results of the study found that studies mostly based on scanning and state-of-the-country findings were generally focused on Germany and France, and in some European countries there was quite a few studies. In the next stage, the results of the research related to the Turkish education of two-language Turkish children in Europe were studied by countries, including teachers, students, guardians, educational persons and teaching materials. The results of the studies have been found in some recommendations on a more effective Turkish education in Europe (the identification of the situation and the analysis of the needs of the countries where there are no or less studies, the preparation of teaching materials taking into account the socio-cultural characteristics and problems of the families, the conduct of experimental studies based on the resolution of the specific problems, situations and needs of the relevant countries, the design of the teaching program in accordance with the needs of the Turkish children, the preparation of teaching books / teaching guidelines / assistant and supporting work books / remote learning modules and programs for students).
