Bireyin gelişim dönemleri içerisinde en önemlisi ve etkilisi çocukluk dönemidir. Bu dönemin temeli de ailede atılmaktadır. Doğumdan itibaren çocuğun kişiliğinin ilk önce aile daha sonra da okul ve sosyal çevrenin tesiriyle biçimlendiği düşünülürse, ailenin önemi ortaya çıkacaktır. Ailelerin çocuklara karşı başlıca vazifelerinden biri, onların din eğitimidir. Zira fıtrattan gelen dini duygu çocukluk döneminde duygusaldan zihinsele, somuttan soyuta doğru gelişir. Bu inanma ihtiyacı ve din duygusunun doğru bir eğitimle desteklenmesi bireyin ilerleyen yaşlarında din algısını ve dine karşı tutumunu etkileyecektir. Bu bağlamda, anne baba tutumu, çocuğun kişilik gelişiminin yanında dini gelişimi ve yetişkinlik dönemindeki dindarlığı üzerinde de farklı etkiler bırakacağından, çocuğun diğer gelişim özellikleriyle birlikte, dini gelişim özelliklerinin de bilinmesi gereklidir. Bu araştırmada otoriter, koruyucu, ilgisiz, reddedici, mükemmeliyetçi, dengesiz ve demokratik olarak sınıflandırılan anne-baba tutum ve davranışları çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Ayrıca çocukların aileleri örnek almalarında hangi faktörlerin etkili olduğu ve aile içi dini unsurların etkileri üzerinde durulmuştur.
The most important and influential period of development is the childhood. The foundation of this period is put in the family. If it is considered that from birth the child’s personality is first formed by the family and then by the establishment of the school and social environment, the importance of the family will emerge. One of the main responsibilities of parents to their children is their religious education. For the religious feeling that comes from fitrage develops in childhood from emotional to mental, from material to abstract. The need for this belief and the support of the religious sense by proper education will affect the individual’s perception of religion and his attitude toward religion in the advanced age. In this context, as the parent’s attitude, in addition to the child’s personality development, will have different influences on the religious development and religiousness in adulthood, it is necessary that the child’s other developmental characteristics, along with the other characteristics of the child’s development, are also known to the characteristics of religious development. This study examined authoritarian, protective, disinteressed, rejectional, perfectionist, imbalanced and democratically classified parents’ attitudes and behaviors. It is also focused on what factors are influential in children’s family samples and the effects of family-wide religious elements.
