Abstract:

The impact of employees’ personality characteristics on problem-solving skills is a remarkable fact for. The absorption of the personality characteristics of employees in a business and the positive behavior of them will allow employees to show higher levels of skills for their business. In this regard, the main purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the five-factor personality characteristics of the internship workers working in the companies that manufacture machinery and machinery parts in the Konya Organized Industrial Area on the problem-solving skills. The importance of this research is the understanding of the personality characteristics and problem-solving skills of the internship staff. In this study, the survey technique was used and the surveys were applied to 111 employees. In this section analysis, SPSS 18.0 package programs were used. Research analyses have been conducted using validity and reliability, correlation and regression analyses. As a result of the analysis, the relationship between the personality characteristics of five factors and problem-solving skills was found positive. Furthermore, externality has had a meaningful and positive impact on self-confidence, evaluative and thoughtful approach. The soft title has had a meaningful and positive impact on self-confidence, planned and thoughtful approach. Responsibility and experience has had a meaningful and positive impact on self-confidence, evaluative, planned and thoughtful approach. Finally, the emotional balance had a meaningful and positive impact on the evaluative approach.
