Abstract:

Bu araştırma, İstanbul Bağcılar ilçesinde, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı meslek liselerinde görev yapan öğretmenlerin iş yaşam kalitesine ilişkin algılarının ne düzeyde olduğu ve çeşitli değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama modeline uygun olarak düzenlenmiştir. Araştırma, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılı İstanbul ili bağcılar ilçesinde yer alan meslek liselerinde görev yapan 307 öğretmen ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak iş yaşam kalitesi düzeyinin belirlenmesi amacıyla ‘’İş Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar şöyledir: meslek lisesi öğretmenlerinin iş yaşam kalitesine ilişkin genel algılarının “orta” düzeyinde olduğu ve sadece medeni durum değişkeni açısından anlamlı bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

The study aims to determine the level of the perceived quality of work life of the vocational high school teachers working in the vocational high schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education in the district of Bağcılar, Istanbul and whether such perception varies depending on different variables. The study was designed using survey model. The study was conducted on 307 teachers working at vocational high schools in the districts of Bağcılar, Istanbul in the school year of 2014-2015. “Scale of Quality of Work Life” was used as data collection tool in the study. The results of the study are as follows: The arithmetic mean of total score obtained from the scale of quality of work life showed that the general perceived quality of work life of teachers working vocational high schools is “moderate”. It is determined that there is a meaningful difference only in terms of marital status change.
