Makalede Ermenistan-Azerbaycan çatışmasında Büyük Güçlerin soruna yaklaşımı ve izledikleri politika analiz edilmiştir. Bu devletlerin hepsi Azerbaycan’ın toprak bütünlüğünü tanısalar da, işgalci Ermenistan’a yönelik hiçbir tepki ve uyarı söz konusu değildir. Azerbaycan ve Ermenistan jeopolitik konumları itibarile değerlendirilirse, Azerbaycan’ın petrolü, doğal kaynakları ona stratejik önem kazandırmaktadır. Fakat Ermenistan’ın petrolü ve denize çıkışı yoktur. Tüm bu dezavantajlara rağmen Ermenistan’ın Rusya, ABD, Avrupa devletleri, İran için önemi nedir? Makalede bu soruya yanıt verilmeye çalışılmıştır.
Approach of the Great Powers to Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict and policies followed by them were analysed in this article. All of these states accept the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, but in spite of this it hasn’t been given any reaction and warning to the occupier Armenia. If paid attention to geopolitical position of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Azerbaijan’s oil, natural resources give it a strategic importance. But Armenia does not have natural resources and oil, at the same there is no connection to the sea. Despite all these disadvantages, what is the importance of Armenia for Russia, USA, European states and Iran? We tried to answer this question in the article.
