Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the self-capacity perceptions of the guideline teacher candidates regarding special education. The study was conducted in the general scan model to the study group 2, 3 and 4. 214 students participated in the class. The research has been developed by Aksoy and Diken (2009a) as a data collection tool and has been used by the guide teacher’s special training self-sufficiency scale (RO-OEOYO). According to the findings obtained, the guidance teacher candidates’ self-quality perceptions related to special training appear to be at the “mediate” level. It is clear that the instructor candidates are not sufficient in preparing special training programs. In our study, there was no difference between the self-capacity perceptions of the special educational teachers' guidelines and gender variation. There was a difference between the third and fourth classes. In face-to-face conversations with the researchers, it was stated that they had more need to participate in special training programs. But about the provision of guidance services in private education, they say they trust themselves and can provide the desired activities in the school environment.
