Osmanlılar döneminde XVII. yüzyılın son çeyreği ile XVIII. yüzyılın ilk yarısında yaşamış olan müderris ve kadı Sadîk Efendi, birçok alanda bilgi sahibi, Türkçe, Farsça ve Arapça şiirde ve inşada eşsiz tarih manzumeleri, kaside ve gazelleriyle hüsn-i kabul görmüş büyük şairlerdendir. Sadîk Efendi, Osmanlı Şeyhülislâmı Erzurumlu Seyyid Feyzullah Efendi’ye methiye olarak Farsça iki kaside kaleme almıştır. Bu şiirler Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi Esat Efendi Bölümü’nde kayıtlı bir yazmada bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada yazma halindeki şiir tenkitli metni yapılarak Türkçeye çevrildi ve kısaca anlatıldı. Ayrıca Feyzullah Efendi ve Sadîk Efendi’nin hayatı hakkında kısaca bilgi verildi.

Sadik Efendi, who lived in the first half of the century, is one of the great poets who has knowledge in many fields, unique in Turkish, Persian and Arabic poetry and construction; historical manuscripts, casides and gazelles have been accepted by the great poets. These poems are in a book recorded in the Esat Lord's section of the Suleimanye Library. In this work, the poem in writing was translated into Turkish and briefly described. There was also a brief information about the life of Feyzullah Lord and Sadik Lord.
