Eğitimin en temel hedeflerinden birisi de bireylerde değerler eğitimini oluşturmak ve kazandırmaktır. İnsanlarda beden eğitimi ve spor kültürü ile birlikte bir takım değerlerin oluşturulması eğitim programları ve müfredatı hazırlanırken tüm boyutları ile ele alınmaktadır. Dolayısıyla beden eğitimi ve spor etkinliklerinin hem kültürel aktarımı sağlamada hem de toplumsal değerlerin kazandırılmasında büyük bir önem arz ettiğini söyleyebiliriz. Bu çalışmanın amacı, beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda spor tesislerinin öğrencilere hangi değerleri kazandırdığını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen açık uçlu sorular beden eğitimi öğretmenlerine sunulmuştur. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan mülakat yöntemi kullanılarak, Gaziantep ilinde görev yapmakta olan 30 beden eğitimi öğretmeninden elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda beden eğitimi öğretmenleri, spor tesislerin her okulda olması gerektiğini ve insanlarda spor kültürünü oluşturarak sağlıklı nesiller yetişmesi gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Araştırmaya katılan beden eğitimi öğretmenleri spor tesislerinin, insanları sosyalleştirdiğini, serbest zamanlarını daha verimli geçirdiklerini ve toplumu pozitif anlamda motive ettiğini söylemektedirler. Ayrıca araştırma grubu spor tesislerinin; insanları fiziki açıdan geliştirdiği, disiplinli olmalarını sağladığını ve toplumsal normlara uyma konusunda bireyleri bütünleştirdiğini ifade etmişlerdir.
One of the main objectives of education is to create and gain education of values in individuals. The creation of a set of values in people with body education and sports culture is addressed with all its dimensions while preparing the training programmes and the curriculum. Therefore, we can say that body training and sports activities are of great importance in both providing cultural transmission and providing social values. The aim of this study is to reveal what values sports facilities give students according to the views of body education teachers. Open-end questions developed by the researcher as a data collection tool in the research were presented to the body education teachers. Using the interview method, which is of the quality research methods in the research, the data obtained from the 30 body training teachers who are working in the province of Gaziantep, was analyzed by the content analysis method. According to the research, body education teachers pointed out that sports facilities should be in every school and that people should grow healthy generations by creating a sports culture. The body training teachers who participated in the study say that sports facilities socialize people, spend their leisure time more efficiently and motivate the society in a positive sense. The research group also stated that the sports facilities have developed people physically, enabled them to be disciplined and integrated individuals in compliance with social standards.
