Tarihsel süreçte öncelikli olarak yurda duyulan özlem olarak kavramsallaştırılan nostalji, anlamsal olarak farklılaşmaya başlamış ve geçmiş zamana yönelmeye başlamıştır. Nostalji çerçevesinde bireyler sıkça geçmişe yönelirler ve geçmişi idealize ederler. Bu çerçevede nostaljik bakış açısının işlerliğinin temelde geçmişin idealize edilmesi ve şimdiki zamanın değersizleştirilmesi noktasında önemli olduğunu belirtmek gerekmektedir. Nostaljik bakış açısının gündelik hayattaki görünürlüğü noktasında yeni medya teknolojilerinin gelişim göstermesi önemli bir eşik oluşturmaktadır. Yeni medya araçları sayesinde geçmiş, bugüne sıklıkla sirayet edebilmektedir. Bu çerçevede yapılmış olan çalışmada, nostaljik bakış açısının yeni medyadaki görünümlerini ortaya çıkartmak amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada TRT Arşiv’in YouTube kanalı üzerinden paylaşmış olduğu içerikler, yargısal örnekleme tekniği ile belirlenmiş olup bu videolara yönelik olarak yapılmış olan yorumlar, netnografi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, geçmişin idealize edilmesi ve şimdiki zamanın anlamsızlaştırılması çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında incelenen verilerin de göstermiş olduğu üzere nostaljik bakış açısı, geçmiş ve şimdiki zaman arasında bir diyalektik sürecin sonucunda ortaya çıkmaktadır ve geçmiş idealize edilirken şimdiki zaman değersizleştirilmektedir.
Nostalgia, which was conceptualized primarily as the longing for the country in the historical process, began to differentiate semantically and began to turn to the past. In the framework of nostalgia, individuals often turn to the past and idealize the past. So, it should be stated that the functionality of the nostalgic perspective is essential in the idealization of the past and devaluation of the present. The development of new media Technologies constitutes an important threshold fort he visibility of the nostalgic perspective in daily life. Thanks to new media tools, the past can often spread to the present. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the appearance of the nostalgic perspective in the new media. In this paper, the contents shared by TRT Archive on YouTube channel were determined by judical sampling technique, and the comments made for these videos were analyzed by netnography method. The data obtained were evaluated within the framework of idealizing the past and making the present meaningless. As the data examined within the scope of the study show, the nostalgic perspective emerges as a result of a dialectical process between the past and the present, and while the past is idealized; the present is devalued.
