Abstract:

The concept of risk management has been seen as an important concept for workers and patients, entering the area of interest of institutions operating in health organizations in recent years. Health organizations host many professional professionals with a diverse organizational structure, a wide field of activity and a variety of specialties. In health organizations that, along with this complex structure, the health professionals are forced to provide diagnosis, treatment and care services to more people in a short time, adapting to the potential disadvantages and risks. Risk management is an important concept for us to cope with the risks that may arise in the prevention or reduction of errors. In addition, the health care system has a high level of risk. It is important for health professionals to be effective in risk management to be able to turn the process into an opportunity. The effectiveness of nurses with a strategic position in health organizations is believed to have significant consequences on the quality of care and patient safety. Our study also focused on the risk management process of nurses who have professional roles working in health organizations, the various dimensions of the subject were tried to be explained.
