Abstract:

A tourist area attracts tourists thanks to its cultural values, along with many features. These cultural values are produced in the context of cultural tourism and benefit from tourist attractions. In this regard, the cultural assets that the tourist areas possess should be researched, analyzed and evaluated from a sustainable tourism perspective. Ancient cities, historical structures and values that can be preserved until today are the main elements of cultural tourism. Turkey has a significant advantage among its competitors in the Mediterranean cave in terms of these elements. From this point, the purpose of work with movement is determined as the study of the ancient cities, which have an important place in cultural tourism, from the perspective of the image of the tourist area. This study is an investigation. This study draws attention to important aspects in terms of sustainable tourism, ancient cities and cultural tourism.
