Öz Kültür mirası varlıklar, uzun yılların birikimi olarak gelişen ve ait olduğu coğrafyaya zenginlik katan önemli unsurlar arasındadır. Anadolu coğrafyası da sahip olduğu jeopolitik konum sebebiyle tarih boyunca pek çok kültürün var olmasına olanak sağlamıştır. Bugün gelinen noktada tüm Anadolu’da tarihi ve kültürel öneme sahip pek çok değerin hala varlığını sürdürdüğünü söylemek mümkündür. Sürdürülebilir turizm iklimi yaratılması açısından tarihi ve kültürel varlıkların korunması, kullanım dengesinin sağlanması ve bu varlıkların turizme kazandırılması son derece önemlidir. Medeniyetlere başkentlik yapmış Konya ili de bu anlamda oldukça zengin bir kültürel mirasa sahiptir. Bu çalışma, kültürel bir zenginlik olarak İpek Yolu Kervansaraylarının turizme kazandırılmasına yönelik yaklaşımların neler olduğuna ve tarihi İpek Yolu açısından önemli bir güzergah olan Konya ilinin turizmde sergileyeceği gelişime odaklanmaktadır. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak yarı yapılandırılmış soru formu yardımıyla toplanan veriler detaylı bir şekilde tasnif edilerek turizm gelişmesi için izlenecek stratejiler çalışma içerisinde ayrıntılı olarak anlatılmıştır. Tasnif edilen veriler neticesinde Konya ilinde yer alan paydaşların İpek Yolu Turizmine bakış açılarının olumlu olduğu ve yerel yönetimlerin de turistik gelişim açısından kervansarayların turizme kazandırılmasının öneminin farkında olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Hem turizm yatırımcıları hem de turizm akademisyenlerinin İpek Yolu Turizminin önemini kavraması ve bu yönde çalışmalar içerisinde bulunması çalışma neticesinde paydaşlara yönelik gerçekleştirilen en önemli tavsiyeler arasındadır.
The own Cultural heritage beings are among the important elements that have evolved as an accumulation of many years and adds wealth to the geography to which they belong. Because of its geopolitical position, the Anatolian geography has made it possible for many cultures to exist throughout history. At the present point, it is possible to say that many of the historical and cultural values in all of Anatolia still exist. To create a sustainable tourism climate, the preservation of historical and cultural assets, the balance of use and the supply of these assets to tourism are extremely important. The capital of the civilizations, Konya, also has a very rich cultural heritage in this sense. This study focuses on what the approaches to bringing Silk Road Kervansaray to tourism as a cultural wealth are and the development that the Konya province, which is an important route in terms of the historic Silk Road, will show in tourism. In the study, the data collected with the help of the semi-structured question form using the quality research method was detailed in the study of the strategies to be followed for the development of tourism. As a result of the identified data, the result is that the stakeholders located in the province of Konya have a positive viewpoint of Silk Road Tourism and the local governments are aware of the importance of providing Kervansaray to tourism in terms of tourism development. The importance of both tourism investors and tourism academics to understand the importance of Silk Road Tourism and to work in this direction is one of the most important advice to stakeholders.
Cultural heritage assets are among the important elements that have developed as an accumulation of years and added richness to the geography to which they belong. Because of its geopolitical position, Anatolian geography has enabled many cultures to exist throughout history. Today, it is possible to say that many values of historical and cultural importance still exist throughout Anatolia. In terms of creating a sustainable tourism climate, preservation of historical and cultural assets, ensuring the balance of use and bringing these assets to tourism is extremely important. Konya, the capital of civilizations, has a rich cultural heritage in this sense. This study focuses on the approaches to tourism of the Silk Road Caravanserais as a cultural richness and the development of tourism in Konya, which is an important route for the historical Silk Road. In this study, the data gathered with the help of semi-structured questionnaire using qualitative research method was classified and the strategies to be followed for tourism development wereexplained in detail. As a result of the data classified, it was concluded that the stakeholders' views on Silk Road Tourism in Konya were positive and local administrations were aware of the importance of providing caravanserais to tourism in terms of touristic development. The fact that both tourism investors and tourism academicians understand the importance of Silk Road Tourism and engage in studies in this direction are among the most important recommendations made to stakeholders.
