Abstract:

Today, the average human life is longer than in the past years, and yet the rapid increase in information resources makes people constantly need to learn new things. As a result of the quantitative increase in the number of higher education institutions, the number of students who see university studies is also increasing simultaneously. However, despite the rapid changes in technological developments and communication facilities, the lack of similar increase in learning levels of students becomes an important state of general acceptance in society. The fact that the target audience of those who are studying at the university level increases the importance of the event. This study aims to show how willing, curious and motivated students who study at the university are to get to new information by measuring the "life learning" trends. For this purpose, students who are studying in different programs at the Uşak University of Eşme Myo, the validity and reliability are tested in the sixth likert grade type, using the "square of determining lifelong learning trends", a scale that also covers demographic characteristics. Analysis required for the data obtained by the research results identified the lifelong learning levels of university students. According to this, it has been revealed that entrance to the university is of great importance whether it is exam or without exam, there are significant differences according to gender and class levels.
