Abstract:

The inter-language interaction has come throughout the history. This interaction was first verbal and then written through the translation. The translation is effective in all areas of life. Through this translation, many of the world’s knowledge is obtained, whether in the scientific and technical field or in the literature and art field. It is also considered the need for the implementation of a translation strategy in theoretical sense to be correctly perceived by the target reader of the information acquired. In this direction, the poem "Bahçenin Fethi" was used as a material for the study of the poet Furuğ Ferruhzâd, the leading female poet of modern Iranian literature, in the poem book "A Other Birth". Furûğ Ferruhzâd’s “Garden’s Fethi” poem, which is a product of the maturity period, has been discussed within a theoretical framework in accordance with the method of “Trading Translation Studies” developed by Gideon Toury in order to see the translation more scientifically. In the review, the translations of Ali Güzelyüz, Makbule Aras and Onat-Kutlar-Celal Hüsrevşahi were assessed. Translations have been studied in terms of “acceptability” and “quality”. According to this method, if the text is translated according to the target text standards and the translation does not create the perception of the text in the reader, a "acceptable" translation, if the source text is translated according to the norms and the text creates the perception of foreignization in the target reader, it is considered a "sufficient" translation. In addition, by identifying the changes that the translators make, these changes have been examined according to the source and target text. In the course of both methods, the translator has been trying to determine what kind of strategies the translator has applied.
