Abstract:

Entrepreneurship is a shadow concept that helps them better understand the opportunities they encounter in all areas of human life, and that is home to many disciplines. The Turkish Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index has been published annually by TÜBİTAK since 2012. There are 5 dimensions in the index. With the help of the index, both the scientific activities of the universities and the industry and other cooperations can be addressed together. This index in our country reflects the first and only results that enable universities to succeed in the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship and to set new goals. In this study, the concept of entrepreneurship is gathered around and the ranking of universities is a guide to the universities in their future planning. In this study, the Turkish Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index values published by TÜBİTAK for 2016 and 2017 were studied with the help of ORESTE and Factor Analysis. According to the TUBITAK ratings, the ORESTE method shows the different ranking results and the factor analysis method that the sizes in the ranking should be treated differently. According to the relevant techniques, the changes in the university rankings have been explained.
