Abstract:

Since humanity has existed, there has been progress in technology. For example, the process that began with the invention of the wheels has shown progress in the development of two-wheeled horse cars, from there to the current four-wheeled car equipped with technology. As technology advances, digital transformation is also taking steps in the educational process. Digital transformation has many benefits for teaching purposes, if necessary to learn. This is why the policy is developed in order to make more use of technology in education. In this regard, the level of digital literacy of teachers candidates, which will be one of the most important elements of the learning process, is very important. The objective of this study is to identify the level of class, gender, social media account and the impact of the time variables spent on the internet on the level of digital literature of teachers. The research was carried out with 110 students from the 1st and 4th classes who studied in the Science Knowledge Teaching Program. The data collection tool has been used for 10 material digital reading scale. For the original measurement, the chronbach-alpha reliability ratio was 0.86, and the chronbach-alpha reliability ratio was 0.88, calculated by research data. The use of parametric statistical methods was decided due to the normal dissemination of data. According to the findings obtained, the level of digital literature of the teachers' knowledge of science is determined to 3.82 out of the 5 arithmetic average. With this value, science knowledge teachers candidates can be said that the level of digital literature is at a good level. It is also concluded that the level of digital literacy of the teacher candidates significantly differs to the benefit of the 4th class by the variable of the class level; the status of social accounting and the time variable spent with various technological devices have not significantly differs. It is recommended that students who begin their bachelor's study conduct activities and practices aimed at improving the level of digital literature.
