Abstract The book organized by Adriana Alves Silva, Ana Lúcia Goulart de Faria and Daniela Finco, brings together research that gives visibility to the feminist struggle and the decolonization process in the first stage of basic education, making interlocution of Gender and Feminism Studies intersected with the issues of Early Childhood Education. The work, divided into two parts, presents research with children carried out in public ECEC (Early Childhood Education and Care), preschools and playrooms, as well as approaches on social inequalities, racism, sexual and racial division of labor, teacher education, among other issues that lead to reflection on feminisms, masculinities and the construction of teaching in Early Childhood Education.
