Job satisfaction isa very important factor affecting productivity in businesslines. The number of job satisfaction researches carried out in the field of Informationand Records Management since the 1970's is rather limited inTurkey and there is not any study related to academic staff in this subject.In this study, it's aimed to make a survey on the level of job satisfaction of39 research assistants working inthenine Information and Records ManagementDepartments which effectively maintsin educational activities inTurkey. The study designed in the descriptive survey model, has used surveytechnique and the 20-item short form of the Minnesobı SatisfactionQuestionnaire to collect the research data. The dabı obtained from 35 of 39research assistants were analyzed by SPSS 23 program. Pursuant thereto, itwas determined that participants had a normal job satisfaction according toMinnesota parameters and their internal job satisfaction was higher than externaljob satisfaction. However, no significant difference was observed in theresearch results according to the demographic variabtes of the target group.]]>
