It is known that positive attitudes and behaviors of employees play an important role in increasing the performance of businesses. The development of positive attitudes and behaviors in employees may depend on personal factors as well as organizational factors. Being one of the key elements in organizational and personal success, work engagement behavior is one of the important organizational positive attitudes and behaviors. It is thought that being able to identify the antecedents that may lead to the behavior of work dedication and to reveal the organizational and individual factors that will affect it, will contribute to the performance of the business. The aim of this study is to test the relationships between organizational support and personality traits of individuals, which may affect work engagement, within the framework of a model. Conducting organizational behavior research within a specific culture and environment can lead to more consistent results. In the light of this information, data were collected and analyzed from 421 employees of two textile enterprises operating in Malatya Organized Industrial Zone. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that organizational support has a positive explanatory effect on work engagement and personality has a partial mediating role in the relationship between these two variables.
