This study investigates the moderating role of psychological contract in the effect of dark side of personality on counterproductive work behaviors. In the literature, dark side of personality and perception of psychological contract considered as an important factors that are effective on attitudes and behaviors of employees. In this study, it has been examined the dark side of personality and role of psychological contract that may have effect on the counterproductive work behaviors. According to the aim of the research, data has been collected via survey method from 237 employees who are working five-star hotel establishment which are located in Antalya and Bodrum. In this respect, exploratory and conŞrmatory factor analysis, correlation and hierarchical regression analysis were used for the data analyses and it has been obtained significant results. Based on the findings, it is observed that Machiavellianism has a positive and significant effect on employees‟ counterproductive work behaviors and it is found that there is a moderating role of counterproductive work behaviors. However, narcissism has a negative and the significant effect on employees‟ counterproductive work behaviors and it is found that there is a moderating role of psychological contract in the effect of narcissistic personality on counterproductive work behaviors.
