One of the most important problems faced by the organizations is that the employees whose the organization is satisfied with the work performance of them is either decreased their performance significantly in time or their tendency to quit after a certain period of time. The sources of these situations, which may have negative effects on the activities of the enterprise both in the short and long term, have been the subject of the analyzes of the researchers in each period. In this study, organizational cynicism and social intelligence variables that have the potential to affect employee performance and intention to leave are discussed. In the study, we carried out the advertising agencies, which became a member of the Association of Advertisers in Istanbul, as of 2017 and found that organizational cynicism and social intelligence closely affect the working performance and intention to leave of employees from the organizations. This finding suggests that enterprises that are dissatisfied with the weak performance of employees or the intention of quitting should pay more attention to the norms of organizational cynicism and social intelligence.
