ÇALIŞAN PERFORMANSI VE İŞTEN AYRILMA NİYETİ KONULARINDA ÖRGÜTSEL SİNİZM VE SOSYAL ZEKÂNIN ROLÜ

Örgütlerin karşılaştıkları en önemli sorunlardan biri, çalışma performansından memnun kaldıkları çalışanlarının ya çalışma performanslarının zaman içerisinde önem arz edecek derecede düşmesi ya da bu çalışanların işten ayrılma yönünde eğilim göstererek belli bir süre sonra işten ayrılmalarıdır. İşletmenin faaliyetleri üzerinde gerek kısa gerekse de uzun dönemde olumsuz etkiye neden olabilecek bu durumların kaynaklarının neler olduğu hususu, her dönem araştırmacıların analizlerine konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada çalışanların işyerindeki performansını ve işten ayrılma niyetlerini etkileme potansiyeli olan örgütsel sinizm ve sosyal zekâ değişkenleri ele alınmıştır. İstanbul ilinde yer alan Reklamcılar Derneği’ne 2017 yılı itibariyle üye olan reklam ajanslarında gerçekleştirilen çalışmada örgütsel sinizm ve sosyal zekânın işletmelerde çalışanların performansını ve işten ayrılma niyetlerini yakından etkilediği bulgusuna rastlanmıştır. Bu bulgu çalışanların düşük performansından veya işten ayrılma niyetine girmesinden memnun olmayan işletmelerin, örgütsel sinizm normlarına ve sosyal zekâya daha fazla önem vermesi gerektiğine işaret etmektedir.

One of the most important problems faced by the organizations is that the employees whose organization is satisfied with the work performance of them is either decreased their performance significantly in time or their tendency to quit after a certain period of time. The sources of these situations, which may have negative effects on the activities of the enterprise both in the short and long term, have been the subject of the analyses of the researchers in each period. In this study, organizational cynicism and social intelligence variables that have the potential to affect employee performance and intention to leave are discussed. In the study, we carried out the advertising agencies, which became a member of the Association of Advertisers in Istanbul, as of 2017 and found that organizational cynicism and social intelligence closely affect the working performance and intention to leave of employees from the organizations. This finding suggests that enterprises that are dissatisfied with the weak performance of employees or the intention of withdrawal should pay more attention to the standards of organizational cynicism and social intelligence.
