Eğitimde teknolojinin kullanımı günümüzde hem kaçınılmaz hem de etkili öğretim faaliyetlerinin gerçekleştirilebilmesi açısından gerekli bir olgudur. Bu nedenle çeşitli alanların öğretiminde teknoloji kullanımına dair yapılan araştırmaların sayısı gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Öğrencileri hayata hazırlama hususunda rol üstlenen sosyal bilgiler dersinin etkili öğretiminde de teknoloji kullanımı önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu nedenle sosyal bilgiler eğitiminde teknoloji kullanımı konusu birçok araştırmacının dikkatini çekmiş, konu hakkında önemli oranda literatür oluştuğu görülmüştür. Bu araştırmada ülkemizde sosyal bilgiler ve teknoloji konusunda yapılan araştırmaların çeşitli değişkenler açısından analiz edilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Konu hakkında yapılan araştırmaların incelenmesi ile literatürde var olan eğilimlerin belirlenmesi, yeni ve özgün araştırmalar üretilmesine katkı sağlanması beklenmektedir. Nitel araştırma yöntemini esas alan bu çalışma tarama desenine dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında 35’i makale, 38’i yüksek lisans tezi ve 9’u doktora tezi olmak üzere toplam 82 çalışma doküman incelemesi yöntemine dayalı olarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmalar araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yayın sınıflandırma formu aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda konu hakkındaki çalışmaların 2006 yılından itibaren sayıca büyük artış gösterdiği ve çalışmalarda ağırlıklı olarak nicel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Çalışmaların çoğunlukla tarama şeklinde desenlendiği, çalışma grubu olarak ise en çok öğretmenlerin tercih edildiği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmaların büyük oranda katılımcıların tutum ve görüşlerini belirleme amacına yönelik olarak gerçekleştirildiği belirlenmiştir.
The use of technology in education is a necessary fact today for the realization of both inevitable and effective teaching activities. Therefore, the number of research done on the use of technology in the teaching of different fields is increasing on a daily basis. The use of technology also plays an important role in the effective teaching of the social information course that plays a role in preparing students for life. Therefore, the subject of the use of technology in social information education has attracted the attention of many researchers, and it has been shown that literature on the subject has been formed significantly. This research aims to analyze the research on social information and technology in our country in terms of various variables. The study of the research on the subject and the determination of the trends in literature are expected to contribute to the production of new and original research. This work based on the quality research method was carried out on the basis of the scan pattern. In the framework of the study, 35 articles, 38 master theses and 9 doctoral theses were studied on the basis of a total of 82 study document study methods. These studies have been analyzed through the publication classification form developed by the researchers. In the analysis of data, visual analysis and content analysis methods have been used. The results of the analysis showed that the study on the subject has been significantly increased since 2006 and that the study has mainly used quantum research methods. The studies are mostly designed in the form of scan, and as a working group, the teachers are most preferred. It is also determined that the studies are carried out largely for the purpose of determining the attitudes and opinions of the participants.

This study, which is based on qualitative research method, was conducted based on the survey design. Within the scope of the research, a total of 82 researches, 35 of which are articles, 38 of which are master's theses and 9 of which are doctoral theses, were examined based on the document analysis method. These studies were analyzed through the publication classification form developed by the researchers. Descriptive analysis and content analysis methods were used to analyze the data. As a result of the analysis, it has been observed that the researches on the subject have increased significantly since 2006 and mainly the quantitative research method has been used. It was determined that the researches were mostly designed according to survey design and teachers were preferred as the study group. In addition, it was determined that the researches were carried out generally for the purpose of determining the attitudes and opinions of the participants.
