Bu çalışma ile Elâzığ’da görev yapan futbol antrenörlerinin sürekli kaygı düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2020 yılında Elazığ ilinde faal olarak görev yapan futbol antrenörleri oluşturmakta olup, örneklemini ise 53 futbol antrenörü oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin elde edilmesinde katılımcıların demografik bilgilerini belirlemek amacıyla kişisel bilgi formu (eğitim durumu, yaş, antrenör olarak çalışma yılı, medeni durum ve belge tipi) ve kaygı düzeylerini belirlemek için Spielberger (1970) tarafından geliştirilen ve Öner ve Le Compte Türkçeye uyarlanması yapılan “Sürekli Kaygı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS istatistik programı kullanılarak, yüzde (%), frekans (f) ve standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Gruplar arası karşılaştırma için t testi ve varyans analizi (Anova) testinden faydalanılmıştır. Çalışmada hata düzeyi p<0,05 olarak alınmıştır. Elde edilen verilere göre; araştırmaya katılan antrenörlerin yaş, medeni durumu, çalışma yılı, eğitim durumu ve belge türüne değişkenlerine bağlı olarak antrenörlerin sürekli kaygı düzeyleri arasında istatistiki açıdan anlamlı farklılığa rastlanılmamıştır. Çalışma bulguları doğrultusunda, Elazığ ilinde futbol antrenörlüğü yapan bireylerin sürekli kaygı düzeyi genel puanlarının 46,71 puan ile ortalama sürekli kaygı seviyesinde oldukları görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak; araştırma neticesinde antrenörlerin kaygı düzeylerinin ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda araştırma sonuçları spor bilimcilere, psikologlara ve bu konuda çalışan akademisyenlere katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
This study is aimed at constantly examining the level of anxiety of the football coaches who work in Elâzığ. The universe of the research is formed by football coaches who are active in the Elazığ province in 2020, and the sample is formed by 53 football coaches. The "Continuous Worry Measurement" was developed by Spielberger (1970) to determine the personal information form (educational status, age, year of work as a trainer, civil status and type of document) and the level of anxiety to determine the demographic information of the participants in the acquisition of the data and adapted to the recommendation and Le Compte. In data analysis, the SPSS statistical program is used to calculate the percentage (%), frequency (f) and standard deviation values. The T test and Variance Analysis (Anova) test were used for group comparison. The error level in the study is p<0,05. According to the data obtained, there was no statistically significant difference between the trainer’s constant level of anxiety depending on the age, civic status, year of work, training status and type of document. According to the results of the study, individuals who do football training in the Elazığ province have a constant level of anxiety with a total score of 46.71 points at the average constant level of anxiety. As a result, the research has found that the level of anxiety of the coach is above the average. In this context, the research results are believed to contribute to sports scientists, psychologists and academics working on this.
In this study, it was aimed to investigate the trait anxiety levels of football coaches, who serve in Elazığ. The population of the study consisted of football coaches who actively served in the city of Elazığ in 2020 while the sample of the study consisted of 53 football coaches. In the data collection, to determine the demographic information of the participants, a personal information form (education status, age, years of working as a coach, marital status and certificate type) was used while the “Trait Anxiety Scale”, which was developed by Spielberger (1970) and adapted into Turkish by Öner and Le Compte, was used to determine the trait anxiety levels. In the data analysis, SPSS statistics software was used and percentage (%), frequency (f) and standard deviation values were calculated. To conduct the comparisons between groups, t-test and variance analysis (ANOVA) tests were employed. In the study, the error level was regarded as p<0.05. According to the obtained data, no statistically significant differences were observed between the age, marital status, years of working, education status and certificate type variables of the participating coaches in the study and their trait anxiety levels. In the light of the findings of the study, it was observed that the trait anxiety levels of the individuals, who serve as football coaches in the city of Elazığ, were at a moderate trait anxiety level with a general score of 46.71 points. Finally, as a result of the study, it was observed that the trait anxiety levels of the coaches were moderate. Within this scope, it is believed that the results of the study will contribute to sports sciences, psychologists and academics who study on this subject.
