Bu araştırmanın amacı, müzik öğretmeni adaylarının bireysel çalgılarına yönelik güdülenme düzeylerini ölçmek amacı ile “Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi Dersi Güdülenme Ölçeği” (ÇDGÖ) geliştirilmesidir. Ölçek, öz düzenleme kuramına dayanılarak hazırlanmıştır. 50 maddeden oluşan bir madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Uzmanlardan gelen öneriler doğrultusunda madde sayısı 34’e düşürülmüştür. 34 maddelik taslak ölçeğin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması, Marmara Üniversitesi’nde 138 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiki analizleri yapılmış ve 9 madde atılarak ölçek 25 maddeye düşmüştür. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda ölçek dört faktörden oluşmuştur. Bu faktörler, ilgi, eğitim ortamı, çevre ve mesleki beklentidir. Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi Dersi Güdülenme Ölçeğinin faktör yapısının açımlayıcı faktör analizi ile belirlenmesinin ardından 246 öğrencilik yeni bir örnekleme, ölçeğin 25 maddelik formu tekrar uygulanmış ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. 25 maddelik ölçeğin doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) uyum iyiliği indeksi değerlerinin kabul edilebilir olmadığı saptanmış ve ölçekte yer alan 1, 2, 13, 15, 16, 18 ve 21 numaralı maddeler atılmış ve DFA tekrarlanmıştır. 25 maddelik Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi Dersi Güdülenme Ölçeğinden 7 madde atılarak ölçek 18 maddelik nihai şeklini almıştır. Ölçeğin iç tutarlığının saptanmasına yönelik öncelikle Cronbach’s Alpha testi uygulanmıştır. Test sonuçlarına göre ölçek geneline ilişkin Alpha güvenilirlik katsayısı 0,92 bulunmuştur. Buna göre ölçek geneline ilişkin Alpha değeri son derece yüksektir ve ölçme aracı güvenilirdir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi Dersi Güdülenme Ölçeğinin 18 maddeden oluşan son halinin, geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu saptanmıştır.
The object of the study is to develop a Motivation Scale for Individual Instrument Lesson (MSIIL) for measuring the motivation levels of music teacher candidates for their individual instruments. The scale was prepared based on self-regulation theory. An item pool of 50 items was created. The number of items was reduced to 34 in accordance with the experts' suggestions. Validity and reliability study of 34-item draft scale was conducted on 138 students in Marmara University. The data obtained was analyzed statistically and the number of the scale was reduced to 25 items by removing 9 items. As a result of exploratory factor analysis, the scale consisted of four factors. These factors were interest, educational environment, environment and occupational expectation. Upon determining the factor structure of the Motivation Scale for Individual Instrument Lesson by the explanatory factor analysis, a new sample of 246 students was applied the 25-item form of the scale again and confirmatory factor analysis was performed.Values for the goodness of fit index of the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) of 25-item scale were found not to be acceptable, then the items 1, 2, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 21 of the scale were removed and CFA was repeated. The scale was finally reduced to 18 items by removing 7 items from 25-item Motivation Scale for Individual Instrument Lesson. Cronbach's Alpha test was first used to determine the internal consistency of the scale. According to the test results, the alpha reliability coefficient for the overall scale was 0.92. Accordingly, the alpha value of the overall scale is extremely high and the measurement instrument is reliable. According to these results, it was determined that the 18-item final form of the Motivation Scale for Individual Instrument Lesson is a valid and reliable measurement instrument.
