Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin moral sermayelerini ölçebilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Ölçme aracının geliştirilmesi için ilk olarak alan yazın taranmış, sonrasında ahlaklı öğretmenin yapması gereken davranışları karşılayan 66 maddelik bir madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Uzman görüşü doğrultusunda benzer nitelikte, iyi ifade edilmemiş, açık ve anlamlı bulunmayan maddeler ölçekten çıkarılarak 66 maddelik madde havuzu 30 maddeye düşürülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini 2018-2019 Eğitim-öğretim yılında Gaziantep ili Şehitkâmil ve Şahinbey ilçelerinde bulunan kamu okullarında görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma evrenindeki öğretmenler basit seçkisiz örnekleme yoluyla belirlenmiş, ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğinin belirlenmesi için çalışma grubundaki 408 öğretmenden elde edilen verilere açımlayıcı faktör analizi (AFA) yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) değeri .805 olarak bulunmuştur. Bartlett's Sphericity testi sonucunun (x2=746,739 p<.01) anlamlı olduğu, açıklanan varyansın ise %60 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. AFA sonuçlarına göre madde-toplam korelasyon değeri 0,30’un altında olan maddeler, madde ölçme gücünün zayıf olması nedenleriyle ölçekten çıkarılmıştır. Daha sonra ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğin incelenmesi amacıyla 20 maddeden oluşan ölçek formuna doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) yapılmıştır. DFA sonuçlarına göre ölçek maddelerinin faktör yük değerlerinin 0,32 – 0,66 arasında değiştiği belirlenmiştir. Uyum indeksi değerleri ise RMSEA: 0,074; SRMR: 0,067; GFI: 0,90; AGFI: 0,870; CFI: 0,910; NFI: 0,910; X2/df=3,17 olarak bulunmuştur. AFA sonucunda elde edilen faktör yapısının madde istatistikleri açısından DFA bulguları ile doğrulandığı görülmüştür. Ölçeğin tamamı için hesaplanan iç tutarlılık katsayısı olan Cronbach's Alpha değeri .871 olarak bulunmuştur. Boyut bazında bakıldığında ise tüm boyutların Cronbach's Alpha değerleri .70’in üzerinde çıkmıştır. Çalışma sonunda elde edilen değerler dikkate alındığında moral sermaye ölçeğinin 20 maddeden ve 5 boyuttan oluşan geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu söylenebilir.
The aim of this research is to develop a valid and reliable scale that can measure the moral capital of teachers. For the development of the measurement tool, a 66 material pool was first scaned in the area of summer, then created that meets the behaviors that the moral teacher should do. According to the expert opinion, similar qualities, uninterpreted, clear and meaningless substances have been extinguished from scale and the 66 material material pool has been reduced to 30 substances. The universe of research is formed by teachers who work in public schools located in the provinces of Gaziantep or Şehitkâmil and Şahinbey in the 2018-2019 Education-Teaching year. Teachers in the research universe were determined through simple unselective sampling, the scale's structural validity was determined, the data obtained from 408 teachers in the study group were analyzed by a remarkable factor (AFA). The Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) measurement is .805. The Bartlett’s Sphericity test result (x2=746,739 p<.01) was significant and the described variance was 60%. According to the AFA results, substances with a total correlation value below 0.30 have been scaled due to the cause of the substance’s weak measurement power. A verifying factor analysis (DFA) was subsequently conducted for the purpose of examining the structure validity of the scale, consisting of 20 substances. According to the DFA results, the factor load values of the scale substances varied between 0.32 and 0.66. The conformity index values were found as RMSEA: 0,074; SRMR: 0,067; GFI: 0,90; AGFI: 0,870; CFI: 0,910; NFI: 0,910; X2/df=3,17. The structure of the factor obtained in the AFA result has been confirmed by DFA findings in terms of material statistics. Cronbach's Alpha, the internal consistency ratio calculated for the whole measurement, was found to be .871 . In terms of size, the Cronbach’s Alpha values of all sizes are above .70. Considering the values achieved at the end of the study, it can be said that the moral capital scale is a valid and reliable scale consisting of 20 items and 5 dimensions.
This study aims to develop a valid and reliable scale which can measure the moral capital of teachers. Firstly, a literature review has been made in order to develop the scale, and then an item pool with 66 items matching behaviours that moral teachers should have has been constituted. In accordance with the opinions received by experts, the items that are of similar nature, inarticulate, unclear and meaningless have been omitted from the scale and thus the 66-item scale has been reduced to 30 items. The research population of this study is, the teachers who work in public schools in Şehitkamil and Şahinbey districts of Gaziantep during 2018-2019 educational year. The teachers in the research sample have been determined by Simple Random Sampling, and in order to determine the construct validity of the scale, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) has been applied to the data collected from 408 teachers in the research sample. Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) value of the scale has been found as .805. It has been determined that Bartlett's Sphericity test finding (x2=746,739 p<.01) is meaningful and the variance obtained is % 60. According to EFA findings, the items whose item correlation value are under 0,30 have been omitted from the scale since their strengths to measure the item is weak. Afterwards, in order to examine the construct validity of the scale, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) has been applied to scale form consisting of 20 items. According to CFA findings, it has been determined that the factor load values of scale’s items vary from 0,32 to 0,66. The fit indices values of the scale’s items have been found as RMSEA: 0,074; SRMR: 0,067; GFI: 0,90; AGFI: 0,870; CFI: 0,910; NFI: 0,910; X2/df=3,17. The factor structure obtained from EFA findings, in terms of item statistics, has been found that it has been validated by CFA findings. Cronbach's Alpha, the internal consistency coefficient, which has been calculated for the whole scale has been found as .871. When look on dimension basis, all dimensions’ Cronbach’s Alpha values have been found above 70. When the values obtained at the end of the study are taken into consideration, it can be said that the moral capital scale is a valid and reliable scale consisting of 20 items and 5 dimensions.
