(Towards the 2nd Balkans and Middle East Countries Conference on Auditing and Accounting History) The Association of Accounting and Finance Academicians (MUFAD) is organizing a new international event, 2nd Balkans and Middle East Countries Conference on Auditing and Accounting History (2.BMAC) between September 15-18, 2010 which was planned to be held in Istanbul. In 2007,the first conference was held in Edirne. MUFAD has organized the 12th World Congress of Accounting Historians in 2008. The aim of organizing this conference is to introduce the accounting recording culture of the countries and to discuss the accounting auditing and its growing importance at the last ten-fifteen years. Three symposiums were added to the conference. One of them is the Business History which will be taken up for the first time. The second symposium is the Accounting and the New Labor Symposium which will allow questioning of accounting in view of the economic crises and corruption emerged in the recent years. The third one is the Accounting and Business Finance Education Symposium which has been added to the conference by the academicians to be able to enable international comparisons. Approximately forty countries will participate to the conference and the programs in which western and far eastern countries will participate is ensured. It is planned to have exhibitions and stands during the conference.
