The aim of this study is to evaluate the unit “structure and properties of matter” in the primary 8th grade science and technology teacher guide book in terms of scientific process skills. In the study in which case study as research approach was used, the sample consisted of total 5 titles involved in the unit “structure and properties of matter ” in primary 8th grade teacher-guide book. A rubric composed of 10 items, involving various scientific process skills, was developed by the researcher. Data collected by the rubric was described and the average means and the percentages were calculated separately for each title. The findings revealed that the units “structure and properties of matter” in teacher-guide book are prepared as convenient to scientific process skills at satisfactory levels (79%), which could be considered a significant advantage of the developed program.
