Bu çalışmada, matematik dersinde ortaokul öğrencilerinin bilimsel süreç becerilerini ölçmeye yönelik, güvenirliği ve geçerliği sağlanmış bilimsel süreç becerileri testi geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla 35 çoktan seçmeli maddeden oluşan test, uygun teknikler kullanılarak geliştirilmiştir. Ortaokul 7. ve 8. sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 353 öğrenciye uygulanan testin gerekli güvenirlik ve madde analizleri yapılmıştır. Cronbach alpha güvenirlik katsayısı 0.90 olarak bulunan testin kapsam geçerliğini sağlamak için uzman görüşüne ve meslektaş teyidine başvurulmuştur. Testin madde analizinde ise, ayırt edicilik ve güçlük indisleri incelenmiş, testin 0.56 ile orta güçlükte bir test olduğu ve ayırt ediciliğinin yüksek olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. Bu sonuçlara göre testin ortaokul 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin bilimsel süreç becerilerinin ölçülmesi amacıyla kullanılabilecek, geçerliği ve güvenirliği sağlanmış bir test olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
In this study, it was aimed at developing a scientific process skills test for the reliability and validity of the mathematics course in to measure the scientific process skills of middle school students. For this purpose, the test consisting of 35 multiple choice items was developed using appropriate techniques. The necessary reliability and item analyzes of the test, which was applied to a total of 353 students in the 7th and 8th degrees of secondary school, were performed. The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient was 0.90. In the item analysis of the test, the indices of discrimination and difficulty were examined and it was found that the test was a medium difficulty test with 0.56 and the discrimination was high. According to these results, it is concluded that the test is a validity and reliability test which can be used to measure the scientific process skills of 7th and 8th grade students.
