The objective of the present study is to determine the scientific studies (dissertation, article,proceeding) conducted in Turkey on education of values in Turkish language instruction, identification of prominent values as determined in these studies and to provide a “bibliography of education of values in instruction of Turkish” for researchers in the field. The study was conducted with qualitative research methodology. “Document analysis,” one of the qualitative research techniques, was conducted in the study, and “descriptive analysis” technique was utilized for data analysis. Based on the research questions, the following results were obtained: Overall 73 scientific work that scrutinized education of values in Turkish language instruction were identified. 40 of these studies were dissertations (54,4%), 30 were articles (40,8%), and 3 were proceedings (4,08%). It was determined that 127 values were investigated in Turkish education of values studies. The top 27 highest frequency values were; Respect (f:33), Love (f:32), Charitableness (f:31), Honesty (f:30), Diligence (f: 28), Responsibility (F27), Tolerance (F23), Being Scientific (f: 22), Significance of the family unity (f: 22), Sensitivity (f: 21), Fairness (f: 20), Aesthetics (f: 19), Solidarity (f: 18), Hospitality (f: 18), Patriotism (f: 17), Independence (f: 16), Health (f: 16), Belief in God (f: 15) Cleanliness (f: 15), Peace (f: 14), Freedom (f: 12), Self-sacrifice (f: 12), Patience (F.10), Friendship (f: 9), Loyalty (f: 8).
