Bu araştırmanın amacı ilkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinin mesleki imaj algıları ve örgütsel adanmışlık davranışları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Bununla birlikte, öğretmenlerin mesleki imaj algıları ve örgütsel adanmışlık davranışlarına yönelik görüşleri ile cinsiyet, okul kademesi ve branşları arasında anlamlı bir farklılığın var olup olmadığını belirlemeye çalışmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2018–2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Erzurum ili merkez Aziziye İlçesi’ndeki resmi ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görevli olan 252 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Araştırma verilerini toplamak için “Öğretmenlik Mesleği İmaj Ölçeği” ile “Çokboyutlu Örgütsel Adanmışlık Öğretmen Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre ilkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinin öğretmenlik meslek imajının “sosyal”, “iletişim becerileri” ve “kişisel imaj” boyutları ile öğretmenlik meslek imajının toplamında cinsiyet, okul kademesi ve branş değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. İlkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinin örgütsel adanmışlığın “öğretim işlerine adanma” ve “öğretmenlik mesleğine adanma” boyutlarında, cinsiyet değişkenine göre kadın öğretmenler lehine anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. İlkokul ve ortaokul öğretmenlerinin örgütsel adanmışlığın “okula adanma”, “öğretim işlerine adanma”, “öğretmenlik mesleğine adanma” ve “çalışma grubuna adanma” boyutları ile örgütsel adanmışlığın toplamında, okul kademesi ve branş değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Öğretmenlik mesleği imajının sosyal alt boyutu ile örgütsel adanmışlığın okula adanma, öğretmenlik mesleğine adanma ve çalışma grubuna adanma alt boyutları arasında; öğretmenlik mesleği imajının iletişim becerileri alt boyutu ile öğretmenlik mesleğine adanma ve çalışma grubuna adanma alt boyutları arasında ve öğretmenlik mesleği imajının kişisel imaj alt boyutu ile öğretim işlerine adanma, öğretmenlik mesleğine adanma ve çalışma grubuna adanma alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı zayıf bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the professional image perceptions of primary and secondary school teachers and the organizational dedication behavior. However, it is to try to determine whether there is a significant difference between teachers’ professional image perceptions and organizational devotion behavior and whether there is a significant difference between gender, school level and branches. The sample of the study consists of 252 teachers who are responsible for the official primary and secondary schools in the Erzurum district in the 2018-2019 educational year. The research is in the relational scan model. To collect research data, the "Multi-dimensional Organizational Dedication Teacher Scale" was used with the "Teacher's Professional Imaging Scale". According to the research results, the dimensions of the teaching profession image of primary and secondary school teachers "social", "communication skills" and "personal image" and the total of the teaching profession image did not make any significant differences according to gender, school stage and branch variables. In the dimensions of the organizational dedication of the teachers of primary and secondary schools to "dead to the teaching work" and "dead to the teaching profession", a significant difference has been found in the benefit of women teachers according to the gender variable. The organizational dedication of primary and secondary school teachers and the dimensions of the organizational dedication of "school dedication", "school dedication", "school dedication", "school dedication" and "school dedication to the work group" in the total of the organizational dedication, there was no significant difference according to the school stage and branch variables. The social subdimensions of the teaching profession image and the organizational dedication between the subdimensions of dedication to school, dedication to the teaching profession and dedication to the working group; the subdimensions of the teaching profession communication skills and the subdimensions of dedication to the teaching profession and dedication to the working group; and the subdimensions of the teaching profession image and the subdimensions of the personal image and the subdimensions of the teaching work and the subdimensions of dedication to the teaching profession and dedication to the working group are defined as a positive weak relationship.
