Bu araştırmanın amacı, Ardahan Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin istihdam edilebilme algılarının ne düzeyde olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin istihdam edilebilme algılarının demografik özelliklere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemektir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemleri kapsamında tarama deseni ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evreni Ardahan Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Bu evren içerisinden araştırma grubu olarak evrenin tamamına ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Ancak evren içerisinden örneklem olarak 304 öğrenciye ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak Rothwell, Herbert ve Rothwell (2008) tarafından geliştirilen ve Gümüşay (2014) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan “İstihdam Edilebilme Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistiklerle birlikte bağımsız örneklem t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen değerlere göre, araştırmaya dahil edilen öğrencilerin kendine ve çalışma alanına güven algılarının yüksek düzeyde; üniversite ve bölümün marka gücü, alana dair iş fırsatları ve genel istihdam edilebilme algılarının ise orta düzeyde olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Katılımcıların demografik özellikleri ile istihdam edilebilme algıları ve alt faktörleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin istihdam edilebilme algılarının orta düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to reveal the level of the perceptions of employability of the students of the Ardahan University's Body Education and Sports High School. It is also to determine whether the perceptions of employability of students differ according to demographic characteristics. The research was carried out in the framework of quantum research methods. The universe of the research consists of students of the Ardahan University of Physical Education and Sports High School. It is intended to reach the entire universe as a research group within this universe. There were 304 students from the universe. The study used the "Employable Scale" developed by Rothwell, Herbert and Rothwell (2008) as a data collection tool and adapted to the Turkish by Silver (2014). In the analysis of data, together with visual statistics, independent sample t test and one-way variance analysis were used. According to the achieved values, it is understood that the students involved in the research have a high level of confidence in themselves and in the field of work; the university and the department’s brand power, the field’s job opportunities and the general perception of employment are at a medium level. There have been statistically significant differences between the demographic characteristics of participants and the perceptions of employment and subfactors. As a result, it was found that the perceptions of employability of body education and sports high school students were at the middle level.
The aim of this study is to determine the level of employability perceptions of the students of Ardahan University School of Physical Education and Sports and whether the perceptions of employability of students differ according to demographic characteristics. The research was conducted with a screening design within the scope of quantitative research methods. The population of the study consisted of students of Ardahan University School of Physical Education and Sports. It is aimed to reach the entire universe as a research group within this universe. However, 304 students were reached as samples from the universe. In this study, Employability Scale developed by Rothwell, Herbert and Rothwell (2008) and adapted into Turkish by Gümüşay (2014) was used as data collection tool. Descriptive statistics, independent sample t test and one way ANOVA were used in the analysis of the data. According to the obtained values, the students' self-perception and confidence in the job area were found to be high; the university's and department's brand strength, job opportunities and general employability perceptions were moderate. Statistically significant differences were found between the demographic characteristics of the participants and their perceptions of employability and sub-factors. As a result, it was found that the perceptions of employability of physical education and sports school students were moderate.
