Abstract:

İncelenen dokümanlarda Kur’an Kursları Öğretici 1.

2022
Author:
Abstract:

The four-six-year-old period is the stage in which the development of religious feelings and curiosity about religious issues are most intense in children. In this period, the religious education or values education that the child receives affects his/her religiosity and moral development in the future. Therefore, religious and values education given with fairy tales and games in the Quran Courses for the ages of 4-6, in accordance with the psychological development of the child, is important. In this study, the subjects included in the 4-6 year old Quran Courses Tutorial Books 1 and 2 opened within the body of the Provincial Mufti under the Presidency of Religious Affairs (PRA) were examined in terms of child developmental psychology. The study is a holistic single-case qualitative research. Data collection was done on printed documents and these documents were described. In the article, after the development features are briefly explained, the evaluation of the documents is given. In the reviewed documents: In the Quran Courses Tutorial 1st Book, "Allah Hears Us, Our Prophet's Love for Children, Companions' Treats, Charity, The Peach Tree Story" and in the 2nd Book, "Leeks with Olive Oil", there are statements that are misleading and prone to misunderstanding. In the same book, the stories are longer and the visuals are less. In both books (1-2) abstract concepts such as "wadud, khaliq, miracle, passed away, death etc." are mentioned. All studies related to Quran Courses for the ages of 4-6 have been carried out in the field of religious education. This is the first study in the field in terms of the psychology of religion, based on developmental psychology.
