ÖĞRETİCİ GÖRÜŞLERİNE GÖRE 4-6 YAŞ KUR’AN KURSU BİNALARININ FİZİKİ İMKÂNLAR AÇISINDAN EĞİTİME ELVERİŞLİLİK DURUMU ( GAZİANTEP İLİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract:

4-6 yaş grubu çocukların gelişimsel özellikleri, onların yaparak/yaşayarak öğrenmelerini gerekli kıldığından bu dönemde somut yaşantılar oldukça önemlidir. Okul öncesinde çocuklar için; sevecekleri, kendilerini iyi ve güvende hissedecekleri eğitim ortamları hazırlanmalıdır. Bu sebeple 4-6 yaş grubu Kur’an kursu binalarının çocukların gelişim özelliklerine, ilgi ve ihtiyaçlarına uygun olarak tasarlanmış ve düzenlenmiş olması gerekmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, 4-6 yaş grubu Kur’an kurslarının sahip olduğu fiziki imkânların eğitime elverişlilik durumunun belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada nicel veri toplama araçlarından anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Gaziantep il merkezi ve ilçelerinde bulunan 4-6 yaş grubu Kur’an kurslarında görev yapmakta olan 175 öğretici oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise evren içerisinden basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 143 öğreticiden oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen veriler bağımlı ve bağımsız değişkenler dikkate alınarak, bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda kursların önemli bir kısmının yeterli büyüklükte bir oyun bahçesine sahip olmadığı, var olan oyun alanları düzenlenirken çocukların gelişim dönemi özelliklerinin, ilgi ve ihtiyaçlarının yeterince dikkate alınmadığı, kurs binalarının temizliği noktasında birtakım eksikliklerin bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca kursların birçoğunda öğreticilerin dinlenmesi ve veliler ile görüşme yapması için uygun mekânlar bulunmadığı, kurs binalarının iç ve dış cephe boya renklerinin okul öncesi dönem çocukları için uygun olmadığı, ses yalıtımı ve kısmen güvenlik sorunu bulunduğu belirlenmiştir.

The developmental characteristics of the children of the ages of 4 to 6 are very important in this period because they need to learn by doing/living. Before school, children should be prepared for educational environments where they will love, feel good and safe. Therefore, the 4-6-year-old group of the Qur'an course buildings must be designed and organized according to the developmental characteristics, interests and needs of children. The purpose of the study is to determine the fitness status of the physical capabilities that the 4-6-year-old group of the Qur'an courses have. In the study, the survey technique was used from the quantum data collection tools. The universe of research is composed of a 4-6-year-old group located in the Gaziantep province center and districts of 175 teachers who are engaged in the Qur'an courses. The sample of the study consists of 143 teachers chosen through a simple, unselective sample method within the universe. The obtained data was analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 package program in the computer environment, taking into account dependent and independent variables. The study found that a significant part of the courses did not have a sufficient size of a playground, the existing playgrounds were organized while the developmental characteristics, interests and needs of children were not sufficiently taken into account, there were a number of shortcomings in the cleaning point of the courses buildings. It has also been determined that in many courses there are no suitable places for teachers to rest and talk with the guardians, the interior and external front paint colors of the course buildings are not suitable for pre-school children, there are noise isolation and partially safety problems.

Owing to the developmental characteristics of 4-6 age group children require them to learn by doing/experiencing, concrete experiences are very important in this period. For pre-school children; educational environments should be organized in which they like and feel good and safe. Therefore, Quran course buildings of the 4-6 age period should be designed and arranged in accordance with their developmental characteristics, interests and needs of children. This research aims to determine the educational availability of physical facilities of 4-6 age period Quran courses. Questionnaire technique, one of the quantitative research data collection tools, was used in this study. The universe of the research consists of 175 instructors working in the 4-6 age period Quran courses in Gaziantep city center and districts and the sample of the study, consists of 143 instructors selected from the universe by simple random sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed by the SPSS 22.0 package program, taking into account the dependent and independent variables. As a result of the research, it has been determined that a significant part of the courses do not only have a sufficient size of playground, but the developmental characteristics, interests and needs of the children are also not taken into account adequately while the cuurent play grounds were arranged, and there were some deficiencies in the cleaning the course buildings up. Besides, it has been determined that many of the courses do not have suitable places for teachers to rest and parent-teacher meeting, the interior and exterior paint colors of the course buildings are not suitable for preschool children, and there are sound insulation and partially security problems.
