Abstract:

The Effect Of The Eight Weekly Pliometric Training Program On Scratch, Speed and Attraction In Salon Football Players
2021
Author:
Abstract:

This study was conducted to study the impact of the pliometric training program on jumping, speed and flexibility in football players. A total of 18 female footballers aged 18 to 22 participated in the study. The football players were randomly divided into two different groups: 1st group (exercise = 9; plyometric exercise + football technical training) and 2nd group (control = 9; football technical training). The participants involved in the study were evaluated 8 weeks before and after the exercise. For performance assessment, a vertical jump, horizontal jump, 30 m speed, quick feet, 505 flexibility and zig-zag test were applied. The "Shapiro-Wilk" test was performed from the normality tests for normal distribution compatibility of data. To compare all the parameters between the two group average, the "Independent Sample T Test" was performed with the "Paired Sample T Test" in the analysis of repeated variables to determine the effects of time (pre-exercise - post) in group comparisons. The value of 0.05 - 0.01 p for statistical significance was determined. The study resulted in statistical significance in the jumping, speed and elasticity test of the test group, while a significant difference in the horizontal jumping and zig-zag elasticity test of the control group was achieved (p<0.01). In the intergroup assessment of the Pliometric post-training, the experimental group had an anaerobic strength, horizontal jumping, quick feet, 505 elasticity and zig-zag test parameters average significantly improved according to the control group (p<0.01). As a result, it can be said that pliometric exercise programs have an impact on the performance of jumping, speed and flexibility.

The Effect Of Eight-week Plyometric Training Program On Jumping, Speed and Agility In Futsal Players
2021

Abstract:

This study was carried out to examine the effect of plyometric training program on jumping, speed and agility in futsal players. A total of 18 female futsal players between the ages of 18-22 participated in the study voluntarily. Futsal players were randomly divided into two different groups as 1st group (experiment=9; plyometric exercise + futsal technical training) and 2nd group (control=9; futsal technical training). Participants included in the study were evaluated before and after 8 weeks of exercise. Vertical jump, horizontal jump, 30 m speed, quick feet, 505 agility and zig-zag tests were performed for performance evaluation. The Shapiro-Wilk test, which is one of the normality tests, was used for the data to be suitable for normal distribution. The “Independent Sample T Test” was used to compare all parameters between the two group means, and the “Paired Sample T Test” was used in the analysis of repeated variables to determine the effects of time (before-after exercise) in group comparisons. A p value of 0.05 – 0.01 was determined for statistical significance. As a result of the study, statistical significance was determined in the jump, speed and agility test of the experimental group, while a significant difference was found in the horizontal jump and zig-zag agility test of the control group (p<0.01). In the intergroup evaluation after plyometric training, it was determined that the experimental group's anaerobic power, horizontal jump, quick feet, 505 agility and zig-zag test parameters averages improved significantly compared to the control group (p<0.01). As a result, it can be said that plyometric exercise programs have an effect on jumping, speed and agility performance.
