Abstract:

The revolving speed of technological developments has imposed a separate responsibility on teachers who ensure the continuity of social change, as it directly affects all individuals living in society. Teachers who are responsible for planning and implementing a healthy and efficient learning-learning process are not only expected to follow technological developments closely, but also to use technological developments effectively in the learning-learning process. This research is aimed at determining the opinions of teachers candidates on the teaching materials that classmates use in the learning-learning process. Thus, the use of material that class teachers perform in terms of how much they contributed to the provision of a qualified learning-learning process when teaching candidates started their profession. In this framework, 30 class teachers were included in the sample and asked them to answer the open end questions prepared on the use of the teaching materials of the class teachers they observed in the School Experience course. The data obtained was analyzed through content analysis. The findings show that close to all the teaching candidates involved in the research, teachers often think they can use teaching materials more effectively and are unable to obtain detailed information about the effective use of the material in this direction. However, the teacher candidates have emphasized the importance of using teaching materials in terms of the durability of the courses processed and the student's motivation.
