Abstract:

The objective of this study is to determine whether high school students’ dealing strategies, rape and aggression scores differ by gender, to study the relationship between these variables and to determine whether dealing strategies have a meaningful place in the explanation of rape and aggression scores. For this purpose, 419 high school students have been implemented the Scale of Strategies to Combat, the Scale of Violence and the Scale of Aggression. In the statistical analysis of the study, the independent t test, pearson moments, and the regression analysis technique were used. According to the results of the study, there was no significant difference in the score average of the lower dimensions between men and girls students, there was a medium-level positive relationship between the size of active dealing with aggression and the negative dealing with aggression and the score of harassment, victim and aggression. Furthermore, it has been shown that the threatened founder of the scores of harassment, victim and aggression is a negative dealing strategy. In light of this information, the importance of involvement in individual and group guidance activities in the planning guidance and psychological consulting services to enhance students’ constructive and functional approach strategies has been discussed and recommended for further research on this subject.
