Abstract:

There are topics to be taken into account when preparing teaching books on Turkish teaching to foreigners. One of these topics is the terms used in the lessons written about Turkish teaching to foreigners. The terms show diversity in the Turkish language knowledge. There are more than one terms in Turkish that meet the same language knowledge topic. This causes complications in language teaching. The purpose of the study is to identify the terms used for the same subject, which are included in the four sets of books set for the teaching of Turkish to foreigners. In the study, quality research patterns were used by content analysis. The work documents include the New HITIT Turkish Teaching Set for Foreigners, the Turkish Teaching Set for Gazi Foreigners, the Seven Climate Turkish Yunus Order Institute Teaching Set, the Turkish Teaching Set for Istanbul Foreigners. The results of the study found that different terms of the same subject were used in the book sets. It can be thought that this situation could be a problem for those who learn Turkish as a foreign language and teachers.
