Araştırmanın amacı Kariyer Yelkenlisi Modeli’ne dayalı olarak hazırlanan psiko-eğitim programının (KYMPP) işe geçiş aşamasında olan üniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer uyumu ve iyimserliği üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın deney (n = 9), plasebo (n = 7) ve kontrol grupları (n = 10) toplam 26 üniversite öğrencisinden oluşmuş ve ön-test son-test yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Deney grubuna beş haftalık KYMPP uygulanmıştır. Plasebo grubundaki katılımcılarla beş haftalık doğrudan kariyerle ilgili olmayan etkinliklerden oluşan bir program gerçekleştirilmiş, kontrol grubuna ise herhangi bir işlem yapılmamıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar uygulanan KYMPP’nin deney grubundaki iş arama aşamasındaki gençlerin kariyer uyumu ve iyimserlik düzeylerini arttırdığını göstermektedir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular tartışılmış ve çeşitli paydaşlara önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The purpose of the study is to study the impact of the psycho-education program (KYMPP) prepared on the Career Ship Model on career compatibility and optimism of university students who are in the recruitment stage. The study’s experiment (n = 9), plasebo (n = 7) and control groups (n = 10) consisted of a total of 26 university students and used a pre-test and final-test semi-experimental pattern. A five-week KYMPP was applied to the experiment group. A program consisting of five-week activities that are not directly related to the career with the participants in the Plasebo group was carried out, and the control group had no transactions. The achieved results show that the implemented KYMPP’s job-seeking phase in the experimental group increased the level of career compatibility and optimism for young people. The findings obtained from the research were discussed and recommended to various stakeholders.
