So many results that aren't mine?

AbstractIntroduction and Aim: Aim of this study is to determine last grade nursing, medicine, dietician and physiotherapy students’ views about teamwork in health care. Materials and Method: Sample of this descriptive study consisted 205 last grade students who were voluntarily agree to participate in the research from nursing, medicine, dietician and physiotherapy in Hacettepe University. Data were collected using a questionnarie which was developed by researchers. Results: We found that 91.7% of the students were educated about teamwork; 83.4% took place in health care team and 70.7% think that there is team work in health care. Nurses were shown as the most important member of team for improving patient care. Doctors were shown as the most important teammate by the 46.8% of the students while nurses were shown by the 35.1%. Conclusion: Awareness of the students about that teamwork is beneficial to the patients, instutions, and health care professionals; and being aware of barriers about teamwork are thought to be facilitator for adopting teamwork mentality among students during their training.
