Nursing students' attitudes towards teamwork and levels of professional values of levels are important factors affecting the quality of care. The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes, professionalism values and effective factors of nursing students towards teamwork. The population of the study consisted of students attending nursing department of a university in 2018-2019 (N=460). The study was conducted with students who actively participated in the lessons and agreed to participate in the study (n=351). The data were collected by a questionnaire, teamwork attitudes scale and nurses' professional values scale. The mean age of the participants was 20.65 ± 0.47 and 67.3% were women. The majority (93.7%) of student’s chosed the nursing department willingly and they like their profession. The mean score of the teamwork attitudes scale was 109.65 ± 18.53 and the mean score of Professional Values Scale was 99.27 ± 20.34. Both scale scores varied according to grade levels. The scale scores of the participants who willingly chose the nursing profession and stated that they liked the profession were significantly higher than the others (p <0.05). The teamwork attitudes scale score of the participants who think that the nurse has an important function in the teamwork, there should be a continuous and healthy relationship between the team members, there should be a common value system to which the team is connected, and the teamwork and collaboration skills of the health workers should be higher than the other participants (p<0.05). As a result, the professional values of nursing students are at an intermediate level and their attitude towards teamwork can be said to be at a high level.
