Abstract:

Among the masnavis written in the 15th century, the masnavis written by Jahan Shah Hakiki in Persian are of great importance in terms of evaluating the poet's Persian works. It should be noted that the poet's works in this type of poetry can be found in the third, most perfect copy, along with other Persian poems. There are 90 Persian masnavis in the divan copy in the Central Library of Tehran University. When these works are examined, it is seen that they were written under the influence of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi. First of all, this effect manifests itself in the educative and instructive subjects in the masnavi parts. Like many people influenced by Mevlana's poetry, Hakiki was able to follow this poetic legacy with great love by following the narrative style, themes and motifs of this distinguished masnavi creator. One of the reasons why many poets like Cihanşah Hakiki are willing to use this form of poetry is that a wide variety of topics can be easily discussed here. Although they lived in different centuries, the spiritual bond and consensus between the two poets, and finally, the immense depth of the genius of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, the strong influence of Jahan Shah Hakiki's poetry and art world, led to the existence of common points between their works.
