Abstract:

When the Republic of Turkey was founded on 29 October 1923, there was no political-based parliamentary system. A group of clear and soldier separated from the CHP was established in 1924 by the Terakkiperver Republic Fraksi and the opposition parties called the Free Fraksi, established in 1930, and the attempts to transition to the multi-party life were short-lived and Turkey 2. Not until the end of the World War, but this short interval was governed by the "One Party" government by the CHP. 2nd At the end of the World War, the Democratic Party (DP) was the most important party in the attempt to transition to multi-party life again under the influence of internal and external developments. DP was founded on 7 January 1946 under the leadership of Celal Bayar and Adnan Menderes, who previously operated within the CHP. This period of transition to the political life of Turkey as a multi-party, is a very punishable and disruptive period. In this process, Turkey has experienced a new numerical life and in 1950, with a democratic general election, the CHP has transferred power to the DP. The unprecedented developments between the DP’s establishment and power acquisition periods have forced the one-party government to manage this transitional process. On the one hand, the attacks under the supervision of government bodies such as the Tan incident are prevented from being in the extreme left DP while every movement of the DP is monitored by the state. The documents presented in this report on this monitoring show that the process has been made an effort to become a transitional period controlled by the CHP.
