Abstract:

The research is an experimental and control group study, based on the pre-test-final test model, where the impact of psycho-education on responsibility attitudes of adolescents is studied. The study group consists of seven-class students who are studying at a private high school in the province of Malatya. The research group was used to determine the 'Responsibility Attitude Scale'. 28 students received low scores and were identified as volunteers to participate in the research, and this group was randomly divided into two (a 14-person experiment and a 14-person control group). The research experimental group applied 'Responsibility Awareness Development Psycho-education' for eight weeks. The control group did not work to improve the awareness of responsibility. In the last session of the experiment group, the responsibility attitude scale was reapplicated as a final-test. The scale was applied to the control group the week after the completion of the 'Responsibility Awareness Development Psycho-education' conducted with the experimental group. According to the findings of the study, there was no significant difference between the pre-test and final-test points of the control group. However, the pre-test and final-test measurements of the experiment group have found manidar differences. In addition, there is no significant difference between the pre-test measurements of the experiment and control groups; the results of the latest test measurements have been significantly different. These findings show that the applied 'Responsibility Awareness Development Psycho-education is effective on the responsibility attitudes of adolescents.
